About the Author

Author and Poet Elaine C. Whittaker

was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Elaine is an alumni of Evans High School

and attended college in the Orlando area. She is currently aspiring to complete her degree in Psychology.

As a supporter of the community, she was co-founder of Girls of America, an organization created to aid young girls through counsel, example and time. In support of her effort to inspire and uplift women she has been interviewed on WOKB radio in Orlando. She aspires to begin her own literary writing group.

"Woman to Woman: The Truth about Singleness and Marriage"

is written to women who are single or newly married. In using her own

life as an example she warns of the pitfalls of the single life while being uncompromisingly honest about the truth of marriage. Her online articles

Aside from her literary ambitions Elaine is co-owner of Whitt's Enterprise, LLC a company through which she exercises her passion for uplifting and inspiring women. Before marrying she was single for eighteen years and has interviewed numerous single and married women on various issues. Through her academic pursuit, educational studies and personal experiences she has acquired considerable knowledge in the area of women issues dealing with singleness and marriage.

She currently resides in Orlando, Florida with her husband, Ernest and her daughter, Elizabeth.
